During your session you get full PRIVACY and exclusive access to the grounds! We limit our booking to one client at a time so you don’t have to worry about running into other people during your session. Some people feel shy being in front of the camera and having your photo taken in public with people walking by is the last thing you want to worry about during your session! If you want a fully private intimate experience with just you, your family and/or partner, then booking a location for your session is the perfect solution! We are also conveniently located just outside of Lynchburg, rural enough to get the country, naturalistic scenery you desire without the hour plus drive that some locations require.

Sidney & Koa Thompson currently reside on this lovely property and want to welcome others to enjoy the exquisite beauty of God’s creation on their family’s farm. Koa is originally from Big Island, Hawaii and moved to Lynchburg in 2018 to attend Liberty University. Sidney is from southern California and moved the the area in  2017 to also pursue a degree from Liberty. These two met, became friends, fell in love, and the rest is history! Both working full-time jobs, they are currently dreaming of ways to grow their family’s property into a sustainable business that they can both run full-time one day. As a start up, they came up with the idea to open up the property as a sanctuary for photographers, content creators, couples, and families who long for a private outdoor setting and dreamy natural backdrops as their idyllic scenery for their photography sessions. When you book your session at Golden Meadows, you’re helping support this couple's mission of getting back to their ancestral roots and building a sustainable business for their family. Sidney handles the communication of this business while Koa helps maintain the landscaping of the property to be in tip-top shape before clients arrive for their session!
